Join us developing a new Kalah protocol!
Hi everybody,
as was mentioned during the last seconds of the Kalah Zoom session, we’re working on a (hopefully) better framework.
Here are some ideas:
- protocol for communicating with the tournament software → you can use any language
- implementing a server, both for the official tournament as well as for training (open to everyone)
- preconfigured agents to estimate (random, alpha beta, …) your agents playing strength
- backwards compatible to the old framework
If there is enough interest, we might end up offering regular open tournaments indepent of the course.
We’d appreciate any help, like implementing libraries for different languages, commenting on the protocol specification or any other general ideas.
