Subject: Resolution or Tableau Calculus
+1 lu60ruhy
I was wondering about Problem 4.3 of our Mock exam. The task is to prove an expression with Resolution Calculus, however in the solution of the mock exam from WS 17/18 (https://kwarc.info/teaching/AI/mockexam-WS2017-18-with-sol…)(its exactly the same problem) a tableaus calculus is used although the task was to use a Resolution Calculus.

So are we allowed to use a Tableaus Calculus instead of a Resolution Calculus and vice versa ?

NO!
This is just a (copy - paste) error in the solution!
