Data Scientist (m/f)

JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for an independent working, creative and out-of-the-box thinking data scientist (m/f). As part of our innovation team your key task in this position is to identify and explain the value to be found in our data (e.g. portfolio over 10.000 products, 300-400 tested product compositions per new product development and 20-30 parameters that have to be optimized, usage of more than 8.000 raw materials). Therefore, you are working with your colleagues on innovation projects but also develop your own projects within the FUCHS group.
YOUR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
- Identify and evaluate: Data sources / structure within the given systems and projects
- Develop and implement: Fields of interest in Data Analytics and Big Data usage and applications to be employed in the future
- Scouting: For relevant partners and start-ups for the identified fields of interest
- Bring together: Internal and external expertise to manage knowledge-transfer within the company
YOUR INPUT
- Master’s degree: Successfully completed, no preference related to the field of study
- First relevant work experience: Ideally in a setup with consulting character
- Strong expertise in and affinity to: Data Handling and Data Analytics
- Fluent in English and in German language
