PR Exercise Transcripts
Hey! Is anyone willing to share exercise transcripts (Mitschriften)? I am going to write/tex everything into a big PDF for everyone requesting a transcript, but did not transcript the previous exercises myself.
For things like that I can highly recommend https://git.informatik.uni-erlangen.de/
So everybody can easily participate and your work will be preserved for further generations 
Great to see that we have a git server open for student projects running in our department.
When was gitlab introduced by our CIP admins?
About a month ago I think. We already had a Redmine server running for quite some time, but since Redmine caused a lot of work keeping things up-to-date, with incompatible plugins and Ruby and Rails being incompatible every other week, we settled on Gitlab.
I know that some students started to set up their own git servers as they were not aware of this service.
If you plan to keep the service running, it might be useful to bring this more to the attention of students and staff who haven’t read this thread
